Healthy Berry Nice Cream

A delicious way to enjoy summer berries. This healthy ice cream recipe takes just minutes to make and can easily be made dairy free. NB Berries and banana must be frozen prior to making.

Equipment

  • Food processor or blender

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g frozen summer berries
  • 1 banana, sliced into discs and frozen
  • 3 tablespoon natural yogurt, dairy or non dairy optional

Instructions
 

  • Blitz the frozen berries and frozen banana in a food processor until starting to break down and turn creamy. Add the yogurt if using and blitz again.
  • Serve immediately, or if you prefer store in the freezer. Remove from the freezer 5 - 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

If necessary, scrape down the sides of the food processor and reprocess until the mixture is smooth.
