Ingredients

  • 250 ml unsweetened oat milk
  • 2 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or maple syrup

Instructions

  • Add the oat milk, cocoa powder and sugar to a pan.
  • Whisk to ensure all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  • Place the pan on a medium heat, and heat until bubbles are starting to form around the edge of the pan and the mix is piping hot. Whisk frequently to ensure the mixture is smooth and doesn't burn on the bottom of the pan.
  • Serve hot in your favourite mug. Add a few shavings of dairy free chocolate if desired.

Notes

Adjust the sweetness to suit by adding more or less sugar.
If you prefer, you can replace the sugar in the recipe with maple syrup. If you are not vegan, you can also use honey.
