This chocolate cinnamon nice cream is creamy, indulgent and chocolatey. It's also sugar free, dairy free and made only from healthy ingredients. Talk about having your cake and eating it;) It takes just 5 minutes to whip up this delicious healthy summer dessert.
Add the slices of frozen banana, cocoa powder and ground cinnamon to the blender or food processor.
Blitz until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides and reprocess if necessary.
If you are using a food processor, you may need to wait a minute or so for the banana to soften slightly before you can get a smooth and creamy texture. Try pulsing the mixture before turning the processor on fully.
Notes
To freeze bananas, peel and cut them into slices. I usually pop them in a single layer on the lid of a plastic tupperware container to freeze so they are easy to remove. Once frozen you can then store the frozen banana slices in the container.
